I'm constantly at a struggle when it comes to cooking salmon, because of it's strong taste and smell. Cooking flavors from south-east Asia and Mexico are my all time favorite so one day I thought of combining the two tastes...and that's how my Salmon Tacos became a staple in my kitchen. The marriage of the few but major ingredients from each cuisine creates the perfect bite. Hope you love it as much as I do!
- Marinate salmon for about 20 minutes with salt, pepper, garlic and red chilli powders, soy sauce and brown sugar
- Broil salmon Pieces total time 5-7 min
- In a pan with heated oil, add sliced onions along with some salt (taco seasoning is optional here) till just about soft
- Once salmon is ready place in each tortilla along with onions, tomatoes and avocados
- Wrap up and eat warm
Add chopped green chillies or hot sauce for a kick!
