Soy-Chilli Broccoli

If you have never had baked broccoli, you are truly missing out on those wonderful new flavors and aromas that are released during the baking process. This is another staple recipe in my home and one that I often make when I'm running low on time. It's super quick to make and often eaten even quicker! Enjoy a new way to try this super healthy green veggie filled with vitamin C, vitamin A (mostly as beta-carotene), folic acid, calcium, and fiber.


1 flower of broccoli (washed and cut into small pieces)
3 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon dry red chilli flakes
2 teaspoon olive oil


  1. In a small bowl, mix together the soy, chili flakes and olive oil.
  2. Pour this mix on top of the chopped broccoli pieces and toss till well covered
  3. Place the pieces on a lined baking tray and bake or broil in oven at 350 degrees for up to 20-25 minutes or until the broccoli is slightly toasted.
  4. Serve hot as a side to any Asian dish or even mix together into pasta.
